So far so good... maybe this time I have to be at H&M when the doors open to grab some affordable luxurious pieces, because this looks fantastic! I want to see more!
Don't forget now that they launch it November 20th here in the US- then the rest of the world three days later.

So, I have to say that I never grow tired of Alber Elbaz and Lanvin.. Again he taps his magic wand and a beautiful collection magically appear... It's clean cut, simple and flattering, but still has a fun twist. You might say it is safe, like so many of the collections this season, but I kind of like safe. I want beautiful clothing that suits every occasion, and that are feminine and fun, Alber Elbaz knows that, and that is why Lanvin is one of my favorites. Unfortunately Lanvin is not in my budget, but let's cross our fingers for the H&M collaboration.  Here is a little peak at Spring 2011

So the fun thing with me and Nora is that we are such close friends that we actually think alike, and this week we are obviously thinking Marc Jacobs.
Monday night Marc Jacobs launced their e-commerce site. The site is just a perfect combination of easy to use and whimsical fun. Ladies ( and gentlemen), this is like a shopping video game.
The people drawings on the site are a little scary though.. Consider yourself warned..

But beside that, finally an online store that looks different, what a great change from the monochromatic in black, white and grey.  I have for a long time been asking myself when someone was going to launch an online retail store that is fun, filled with brand personality and easy to use. I was thinking I might have to do it myself, but looks like Marc beat me to it.. Way to go!

PS! They don't have that much merchandise available for online shopping, but I am thinking that's just a matter of time..

We are well into New York Fashion week, and I though I post some of my favorites so far. It looks to me like many of the American designers are going back to the roots of American Sportswear: easy, functional and beautiful clothes... As simple as that!

Nude/beige/brown/cream is so the new black for me. Black has always been my favorite, but hey it's nice with some change, right? It's all about those colors now.

Stella McCartney always bring that palette in her collections- and that's why I love her ! The shoes in picture #2 is a killer! Yes please!
Elin Kling  should get an award for her ballsy outfit that created a little debate during Stockholm Fashion Week. Even New York Magazine jumped on the debate.  That naked piece she's wearing is designed by Erin Wasson (LOVE that girl). I don't think I would wear something like that, but Elin sure looks stunning..as always;)

So I never thought I would be able to get exited about an H&M designer collaboration again.. I have been so over it..But I might have to rethink that one. The fast fashion giant has released several videos on You Tube and their website lately filled with hints and clues of who the next guest designer is, and we can only hope that the industry buzz is true, that Alber Elbaz and Lanvin is the one.
Let's hold our breath until September 9th, which is said to be the release date of the 2010 designer collaboration.... I only dare to dream...       - S-

I've posted some pictures from the Lanvin Fall 2010 collection to inspire us while we wait. Complements of style.com.
